A fabulous 21 year old Ardmore bottled by G&M from a single refill sherry hogshead which yielded only 237 bottles at a hefty 57.1% ABV.

At once peaty, medicinal and mineral, and yet fruity, rich and honeyed, this wonderfully balanced expression brings Ardbeg to mind more than ever.

Located in the foothills of the Grampian Mountains in the east of Speyside, the Ardmore distillery produces a single malt that is extremely popular with master blenders and is used notably in the famous Teacher’s blended scotch.

Bottling's of Ardmore are not very common, mostly through Independent Bottlers, and single casks are even rarer - which makes releases like these not to be missed.
