A landmark release from Ardnamurchan Distillery, this 10 Year Old release marks the start of its first ongoing age-statement range, in what is only it's 11th year of operation. Quite a statement and a wonderful follow up to the 10-year-old limited edition released on the occasion of their 10th Anniversary in 2024.
Matured primarily in bourbon barrels with a small portion of sherry hogsheads, it brings together both unpeated and peated spirit to capture the distillery’s balanced West Highland character. Bottled at 46.8% ABV from a mix of 52% unpeated spirit and 48% peated spirit, it’s a superbly crafted whisky that blends maritime influence, gentle smoke, and creamy sweetness.
