Another brilliant bottling of Ben Nevis single malt brought to us by the folks at indie bottler Càrn Mòr, this is a year older and a great follow up to the incredible release that came out last year.
Matured in Sherry Butts for 7 years, this glorious peated Highlander is bursting with flavours of hot pancakes and rashers of smoked bacon smothered in sweet sticky maple syrup.
Very different from the usual tropical fruit laden distillery profile, this expression is smoky, dirty, funky, peaty and richly sherried, displaying maturity and complexity way beyond its stated age.
Distilled in 2015, it was bottled up for the Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited series in 2022, with a total of 1,840 bottles released. If the previous release was any indication, this one won't be around for too long either.
