The Best Indian Single Malt Whisky is now in Singapore.
This multi-award winning Indian single malt is distilled in the town of Indri in the state of Haryana, near the Himalayan foothills.
Made from indigenous six-row barley which has been grown for hundreds of years in the adjacent state of Rajasthan and nurtured with care since 2010, Indri–Trini is also the first Indian whisky to be matured in three different types of barrels: ex-bourbon, ex-French wine, and Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry casks from Spain.
An impressively balanced single malt, packed with indulgent aromas of black tea, caramelised pineapple, oak, vanilla, honey, raisins and sweet cherry, and complemented by notes of oak, vanilla, blackberries, hazelnuts, orange zest and caramel throughout the palate.
The French wine and PX sherry cask influence is most noticeable on the oily, fruity palate and the medium-long finish consisting of lingering berry fruits alongside a spicy, tannic and drying mouthfeel.
