Macduff 10 Year Old 2011 - Strictly Limited (Carn Mor)

A delightfully creamy and fruity independently-bottled single malt from Macduff, which was distilled in 2011 and matured for a decade in ex-bourbon barrels. It was then bottled by Càrn Mòr for the Strictly Limited series, with 1,120 bottles released.

Established in 1960, the Macduff name is more commonly used for independently bottled whiskies from the distillery, whereas their official bottlings are called Glen Deveron or just The Deveron, both named in reference to the River Deveron, which runs alongside the distillery.

Another curiosity is that Macduff is located on the far Eastern edge of Speyside, but according to their own labels it's a Highland single malt and is also an important part of Bacardi's William Lawson's blended whisky.
