From the house of Pisco ABA, Pisco Fuegos Reserved is a refined premium Pisco made from a blend of selected Muscat, Pedro Jimenez and Torontel grapes, distilled twice in copper pot stills and triple-filtered for exceptional purity.

The key difference from Pisco ABA is the aromatic expressiveness of the grape varieties used to produce Pisco Fuegos. Muscat (Pink Muscat, Muscat of Alexandria) grapes used in Pisco ABA are very fragant, while Pedro Jimenez, Muscat of Austria and Torontel varietals used in Pisco Fuegos are more subtle.

It is then aged (rested) for over 6 months in specially selected Raulí casks that give it a purity and smoothness unmatched in its class.

Raulí is a native Chilean hardwood, traditionally employed in southern Chilean winemaking for barrel production. These distinctive elongated cylindrical casks, called Pipas due to their characteristic pipe-like shape, are most commonly associated with the production of Pipeño, Chile’s historic country wine. Raulí wood imparts subtle earthy notes, different in characteristics compared to traditional French or American oak.

Shiny at sight, on the nose it has a medium intensity, with citrus and black pepper notes. In the mouth, it is fruity and fresh with a medium finish. Ideal for enjoying neat, with soft drinks, or mixed in cocktails.

Founded in 1921 in the heart of the Elqui Valley, ABA Distillery is 540km north of Santiago, the capital of Chile. The entire production process at ABA still remains 100% by hand, from harvest all the way to labelling. It all starts each year in February with a harvest of more than 2 months, where grapes are handpicked and carefully taken in trays to the winery, where the crushing and fermentation of the juice occurs. The final stage of the Pisco production is the distillation in copper pot stills.
